This one day open Visible Thinking workshop in Amsterdam introduced participants to a selection of Visible Thinking and museum education practices applicable across a range of age and content areas. Through activities and discussions, participants gained a solid foundation to working with the method and an overview of numerous thinking routines. We spent the morning at The Thinking Hut looking at how different types of routines can be used to focus on certain types of thinking with different works of art. In the afternoon, we went to the Tropenmuseum to practice facilitating group discussion using art and museum objects.
